Spring has sprung at the nursery with new growth and color, closing the window to safely dig deciduous trees. We did have a bit of a setback with subfreezing temperatures in the mid 20’s the first week of April and after several species (Carya, Nyssa, Magnolia, and Quercus phellos) had begun to leaf out.  This burnt back new foliage for the third spring in row, but we are optimistic that our resilient native trees will bounce back and continue to flush out with new growth.  Photos taken 14 Apr 2025.
