When we are working in fields that are a long drive from our loading area, we utilize heavy-duty farm wagons that can hold up to twenty-four 2” caliper trees. This improves our efficiency in haul-out times and reduces wear and tear on our track machine, damage to root balls, and reduces rutting out our roadways, especially when it is wet. A two-man team can gather and move several wagonloads of trees in a day, especially when it is clear and sunny in February. Photos taken 15 February 2024.
