Winter is the best time to prune since there are no leaves on the trees.  You can get a good look at the structure and decide where pruning needs to occur to promote a central leader and uniform canopy.  Eric’s skill plays a key role in this process, and he invests the time to mentor and train the entire team on this critical aspect that is necessary to handcraft a premium native tree.  This is especially important for our younger trees so that they can get off to a good start with the structure needed and reach their full potential over numerous years.  Only 12,000 more to go…  Photos taken 27 Jan 2025.
