Arlington County has invested in adding to their tree canopy with a diverse mix of native shade and understory trees from White House Natives. These trees are planted at residences throughout the county to help provide shade for gardening and gardeners and habitat for insects, birds, and other animals. With hundreds of trees hand tagged at White House Natives and installed by Davey Tree seasonally, for several years, the results of their efforts is becoming evident as you stroll through the streets of this established community.  Photos taken 2 Mar 2022.
