Ashburn Overlook

We last checked in on these native trees from WHN three years ago in May 2019.  Since their installation, they have acclimated to their forever home and are providing shade and aesthetic appeal to the residents of Ashburn Overlook and habitat to insects and birds. Nestled along the well-traveled W & O D trail, this small residential community’s native plantings tie in well with the native vegetation found along this popular biking and hiking thoroughfare. We are looking forward to seeing more native tree plantings thrive like this while complementing their community and their surroundings.   Photos taken May 2022.
