Eric and his team completed the fall planting of our hand-selected native tree liners in late August so that they can get established before winter and get an early start on their three to five years at WHN.  Late summer planting is possible due to our investment in an efficient drip irrigation system, giving these liners the regular water they need to take full advantage of optimum fall weather. We look forward to crafting these vigorous liners into larger size specimen trees, starting immediately with a fiberglass stake for each tree to help insure a straight trunk and consistency. It takes a good liner and hands-on care to craft to a quality native tree, and this autumn’s crop is off to an excellent start!    Photos taken 27 August 2023.
