This family-run liner grower has been one of our longest and largest suppliers of #3 container native tree liners since we founded WHN. Their air-pruned pots reduce the chances of circling roots and trees that need a straight trunk have been trained on a bamboo stake even at this young age. We invest the time to meet with our liner growers so that we can discuss past, current, and future plants to confirm we have the same expectations and to help ensure consistency.   Knowing and starting off with a quality liner is critical early step in the growing process that is necessary to help insure we can hand-craft a finished native tree that can then find their way into your landscapes.  Photos taken mid-August 2023.
